Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine Special Goshuin Paper: Firefly (Reiwa 8)
Said to have a history of over 2400 years, this is one of Japan's most ancient shrines, and is the origin of the place name Omiya, meaning "Great Palace." As the Ichinomiya of Musashi Province, it attracts worshippers from all over the Kanto region, and is bustling with many visitors during the New Year's pilgrimage. There are over 280 Hikawa Shrines, mainly in Omiya, but also throughout Saitama Prefecture, Tokyo, and Kanagawa Prefecture.
